YE 7500 CI menu

I am helping a friend with a YE 7500 CI. I flashed it with ye7500ci_474s_xpa_x_xl_tps070125.bin from nebutv, and then put in keys dated 010207. I want to scan for channels, but when I push the menu key on the remote nothing happens. I am used to my YE 2000X CI, is the YE 7500 CI too different? All of the other keys on the remote function as expected.

I think I am missing a step...
I tried to push menu then 0000, menu and 0000, just 0000, 0000 from the channel list, I even dialed 0000 on my phone :alalal: all with no result.
Am I not doing it right?

Believe it or not, it was a bad remote! The only defective button was the Menu button. Thanks to Sinem in Cankaya for helping me through that one!!!
