How to restore Next Minix HD Tango Plus

How can I restore the Next Minix HD Tango Plus with a rs232 cable via PC?
I have encountered a problem with the device, It cannot boot, the device only shows the red light in the ER-EX and does not start. Hope that anyone can give an advice how can I repair it.

I've got 2 cables, one that I've already bought, and one like that in the link, both link the stb with the computer, but I have no clue how to transfer data from the computer to stb.
