How to upgrade software
- To upgrade software of Receiver through PC, you are required to prepare a piece of ‘RS-232C’ cable

A. Connect ‘a terminal of RS-232C cable’ to ‘COM 1 port of Computer’ and connect ‘another terminal of RS-232C’ to ‘RS-232C port of the Receiver’



B. < set up Receiver>
1. choose ‘OPTIONS’ in the main menu

2. choose ‘Software Download’ in OPTIONS

3. check the indication of ‘RS232 Port Setting’ in the screen



C. <PC>
1. choose ‘HiperTerminal’ in Accessories

HyperTerminal can be usually seen in the Windows screen ? ‘Start’ button ? ‘Programs’ ? ‘Accessories’ ? ‘HyperTerminal’

2. double click HyperTerminal

3. on ‘New Connection’ message window, as instructed , input an optional name (eg, DX-3000P) and choose an optional icon

4. choose ‘connection to Com 1’ in ‘Modem Selection’

5. set up the following figures in the port set-up menu

1) Baud(Bit) rate : 38400 bps

2) Data bit : 8bits

3) Parity bit : None

4) Stop : 1 bit

5) Flow Control : None

6. Choose ‘Transfer’ menu on the MENU BAR in the VERY UPPER PART OF SCREEN (not in message window)

7. choose ‘Send file’ in Transfer

8. find and choose the file which you saved after receiving from our Homepage

D. push the OK button on the Receiver and select ‘Send’ button on PC screen


How to transfer program and channel copy between 2 units of digital models



1. Prepare digital receivers : A Set(sender), B Set(receiver) and a piece of RS-232C cable

2. Connect A and B each other with RS-32C cable. The terminal for RS-232C is in the rear panel of digital receiver

3. Set up : B Set(Receiver)

1) Open the cover in the front panel

2) Push the buttons in order as follows ; MENU à CH up à VOL right(up) à CH down à VOL left(down) à MENU

3) The ‘Fune’ will appear in the front

4) Then, select what you want to do in the menu by ‘CH up’/ ‘CH down’ button. But, do not push ‘OK’ button till the below 5.



There is menu as follows ;

CP-S == Channel Copy Sender

CP-R == Channel Copy Receiver

SU-S == Program Sender

SU-R == Program Receiver



(eg. Since B is receiver, you can select SU-R(or CP-R))



4. Set up : A set(sender)

: set the same way with the above 3. 1) 2) 3)

Then, you can select CP-S against CP-R of set B or select SU-S

against SU-R.

5. Push ‘OK’ button of B set

6. Push ‘OK’ button of A set

7. They will work.
